Seasons second Drift Challenge and the historic first Nordic Drifting series was driven 01.06 at Botnia Ring track as a fridayevening Race. Event set a new record in spectators for the racetrack and best in PRO Class was Marko Hyvönen with Nissan S 13 and in newcombersclass Henri Haanpää with Nissan S 14. Nordic Drifting series first points went to following gentlemen; Number 1 Marko Hyvönen, Nissan S13 - 10 points, number 2 Jaakko Raitanen, Pontiac Trans Am - 8 points and number 3 from Norway, Fredrik Aasbo, BMW E 30 - 7 points. Next Nordic Series Race will be run at midsummer in Norway.

Finnish drifting season was openened on 19th of May, at Alastaro Raceway. A total of 39 Driftingcars ( 20 newcombers and 19 PRO Cars ) where on hand in the Drift Challenge Race. Best of the day was Mikko Viitala with Opel Manta 1971 in PRO Class, and Juha " Muumi" Vehviläinen with Nissan S 13 in newcombers class

On hand will also be guiding personal, good music and possibilities to test new Arctic Cat snowmobile 2007. Best performances and most interesting vehicles of the days will be rewarded

This is the Drift Finals of the season 2006 and the winner of 2006 X-treme Drift Challenge will be announced. ( Possible international drifting teams visiting. )

The drifting in the event is part of the King of Europe Drift Series, and will bring International drivers to drift at Alastaro racetrack

This is the second event where drifting drivers gets points in the X-treme Drift Challenge series 2006.

Hot streetcar event at Alastaro Motorcircuit, where drifting is not a crime. Drifting, Drag Racing, Track driving, CarBabes.

Co-ordinated drive from Finland to France and back to Finland.

Conditions for participation: A person interested in travelling either the full journey or a part of it together with the tour group and participate in the Gti-event organized in France can participate in the tour. The transportation vehicle should preferably represent an Xtreme car, but even normal cars (incl. travel wagons) are accepted. The main requirement is the interest to participate.
